On 24 February, A hiker Collin Leiby was walking in the mountains in Pennsylvania with his pet dog, a pitbull whose name was bass. While they were exploring Bass suddenly acted like he had found something and started running. Collin became fascinated and started following bass. After a short walk behind the bass,he found something in a coal pit.
When he saw it closely, he noticed a golden retriever stuck and struggling to escape. Collin pulled him out very safely. Dog was very thirsty, so Collin gave him water and comforted him. Collin takes the golden retriever down from the mountain’s. Golden retriever was very hungry and tired.
The name of the golden retriever is Freddy and he is 6 months old. Freddy had been missing for a week after disappearing on February 17 in Pottsville County. Owners of Freddy, Pam and Joe are very anxious about their dog. They posted freddy’s photos on social media and did all things to find freddy. But still they can’t find freddy.
After some care for Freddy, Collin called Pam & Joe, and told them that he found their dog. Owners came and checked freddy. Pam and Joe feel too relaxed after finding freddy. They give a lot of thanks to Collin and his dog bass. When people know Freddy is rescued. They started posting on social media and fully praised collin and his dog for the kindness they show for Freddy.
However, From freddy’s story everyone needs to know that dogs can be lost easily in mountains, streets or in coal pits. Every pet owner must focus on the safety of their pets. And from the Collins kindness, if someone finds any Orphan pet or lost pet he/she must help that pet and if they cant help them, then they can call to any nearby animal rescue team for help.
