In the last days of February, Maintenance workers noticed some plastic bags at the roadside. When they opened the bags, they saw 4 dead pitbull dogs inside. They felt sad and called the police. And told them they found these dogs near milepost 119.4 at the garden state. 

When police arrived and checked the bag, the police said “We believe this is a case of animal abuse” , “We have been working hard for many days to find out who did this.” Because this is not the first case. Animal control officers with the police also checked the dogs. 

After this, dead dogs were taken to the vet center to check more. The dogs are weak and have some injuries on their body. They have cuts and other wounds, showing that someone used these dogs for dog fighting. Now the police are seeking some public help and checking the security cameras to find some clues. 

Authorities think that there is an underground fighting ring of dogs. Now police are also searching to find if these dog fighting rings exist or not. And trying to catch the person who did this. A person called 911 for help. After some time when firefighters arrived they fastly took out their boat and used ropes to go near molly. Now both firefighters and Molly are in danger because of too much cold water. There are 8 firefighters and 4 boats in the river to rescue molly. They did many tries but failed. But after another try they finally pulled her out. 

Chief of Garfield Fire Mr. Michael Daughety appreciated his team and said “We knew she didn’t have much time left. Everyone worked together, and thankfully, we got her out safely”. The people standing near the incident uploaded the images of Molly’s rescue on social media.

Images are getting viral on social media. Many people praise the team of firefighters. A lot of the social media audience commented on the images of pink poodle.  Some said “cotton candy dog” and some made a joke “fluffy pink cloud in trouble”.  

After rescuing Molly, the team took her for a veterinary checkup. Vet checked him and said, she was healthy, she just needed a warm place and needed some sleep. The vet wrapped Molly in a blanket and gave her some medicine to help her recover from the flu and cold. Now the rescue team is trying to contact the owners. If owners did not arrive then, they would handover the pink poodle to an animal shelter.

After getting the puppy, he ran out of the store. 3rd men also left the store on that point of chaos. The car they choose to escape is a gold Cadillac Escalade. Car has tinted windows and no number plate. 

After this, the man who was acting up didn’t leave the store. The Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office arrested him and identified that his name is Timothy Davis. He is 37 years old. Timothy Davis is now facing charges for his collaboration in robbery. The other 2 men weren’t found. There was also a 4th man who was driving the car.

From the stolen puppies, one puppy returned home safely. A girl returns that puppy after realizing that the description of his puppy matches the stolen puppy. The Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office announced the description. The woman said that she bought this puppy for $1500 from a local vendor on the street. 

This is not the first robbery. In the month of february, Perfect Pets was robbed 3 times. Due to 3 thefts in a month, the owner faced too much financial loss. The store is offering $1000 as a reward for that person who will find the other puppy or give any accurate information about the thieves. The investigation is still in process. Police officers are doing their best to catch the remaining thieves.
